ABC Quiet Book

I have finally finished this book for Callin for church, it only took me 6 months to complete. I am happy how it turned out. Now I can't have lots of kids!

Fondue

For New Year's Eve we just stayed home and played games, watched some movies, and played the wii. Callin loves to play the wii, well he likes us to play the wii and he thinks he is doing it. We had lots of treats, one the treats I made was fondue, I have had a fondue pot things since I got married and I had never used it. So I whipped out my fondue recipe book and picked one out. I wanted something simple so I chose one that was called Chocolate Nougat Caramel. 

All it has in it is 4 standard size milky ways and 5 ounces of cream. You just let them melt together and you eat it with frozen banana's and put it over vanilla ice cream. It was so yummy! I will for sure make it more often. 

Las Vegas

So we went to Las Vegas this year for Thanksgiving, it was alot fun. But on the car ride down to Vegas was not too much fun with Callin. We weren't even close to Cedar City and pretty much in the middle of know where that had no gas stations for miles, and Callin threw up all over himself. It was pretty gross. We pulled over and tried cleaning up with baby wipes and changing his clothes. When we reached Cedar City we got some lunch and while we were there Callin felt like to me that he had a fever, so instead of just getting back on the road we went to an Insta Care to figure what was wrong with him. Luckily when we got to the Insta Care know was there so we got back really fast. Long story short he had strep throat and a double ear infection. They said the reason why he threw up was because of the change of elevation and his ears wouldn't pop. We got a prescription and then hit the road again. 

We finally made it to Vegas around 9:00 pm at night. Once we got into our room we took Callin out to look at the lights, he was amazed with all the lights he kept saying "daddy look at the big buildings," it was pretty cute. As we were walking in the Luxor hotel we saw my cousin Kristen and so we decided to walk over the MGM and look at the lions, I don't know what we were thinking because the lions were not out. Oh the well the exercise was good for us right?! 

We also ended up leaving earlier than we had planned because of the so called "HUGE" storm that was coming in. 

On Wednesday we went  over to this shopping mall, and while we were there we bought Callin and Mike a new hat and I bought some jeans from Banana Republic that were a great deal. 

On Thursday we went over to my cousin Shalee's house and had Thanksgiving dinner, it was pretty good. My favorite part of Thanksgiving this year was seeing most of my cousins that I haven't seen for like 10 years and playing games with them. 

On Friday we went through all the hotels and looked around at them. Later that night we meet up with everyone and went to dinner. After dinner we went to the New Orlean's hotel where my Uncle Dan and Aunt Janelle were staying and some people stayed and played bowling that was upstairs and some people went and gambled, I chose to gamble well I chose it because I had never touched a slot machine before and just wanted to try it since I was finally old enough. I didn't like the computer was controlling how much money I earned. (does this even make sense?) anyways I don't think I will make gambling a habit. 

On Saturday we left early in the morning and came home. When we got home Callin was starting to get this horrible cough so we took him to the Urgent Care on Sunday and he still had an ear infection and they gave us a nebulizer for his cough. The nebulizer didn't work so well because Callin wouldn't leave it in his mouth long enough. 

He now starting to feel better, we can't wait till his 3 to get his tonsils out!

Does anyone know how to get that logo off of my page that says "scrappin blog" I have tried to figure it out but I can't seem to figure it out. 

Any ideas would be helpful

Sad Month

So in November we found I was pregnant I was so excited, because I had bought a shirt a while back for Callin that said "BIG BROTHER" and that was how I was going to announce that I was pregnant. I was going to wait till I was 13 weeks before I announced also but I way too excited that I did it earlier than planned, I only announced it to my close friends and family. 

But 2 weeks after I told everyone I started getting this feeling that something wasn't right. I went to my OBGYN and they did a blood test and it said that my HCG level was falling. The day after I got my blood results I had a miss carriage, I was devastated because we had been trying for 8 months! I was in so much pain that they did a D & C and I am so glad I had that done, I was very sore for a few days. But the emotional part is the hardest part to get over. My hormones are up and down all the time and I wish they would just level out some time! 

Callin's Two

Wow does time fly fast, I can't believe Callin is two already I swear I just had him. He is very smart for his age he is making sentences, he can count to ten, he knows some of his abc's, he loves to read books, play basketball, baseball and soccer, his favorite word right now is NO!, he is always happy! 

Callin got a lot of fun things from his aunt, nana, papa, grandma and grandpa. His aunt cankey* gave him a pair of silks and a shirt, nana gave him a mr * "tato head", books, a really soft blanket and some clothes, his grandma and grandpa gave him a tool set which he loves the hammer the most, he is always going around saying bam bam bam. He is a little Mike, that is for sure. So I don't have the pictures from his birthday, I only have the cake that I did, more pictures will be coming.

Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo

I meet a really nice girl in my building that lives above me and to the left. She has a little boy that is 18 months old and he is adorable, his name is Davian or D. Callin and D love to play together, we see them almost everyday. We are always looking for activities do with them, that are cheap so we found out that Thanksgiving Point was doing there two dollar Tuesdays, so we took the boys over there and man they had a BLAST! Here are some pictures.
